These boxes of metal are gaining in numbers. Recently, new advancements in robot technology have excellerated robot advancement. Apparently, the technology exists to make robots bigger, faster, and stronger than ever before. Not only that, but robots are becoming smarter by the minute. Robots can now not only talk to you like they have a soul, but they can also almost handle the stairs, the one thing allowing you to keep your distance from them. Good thing they haven’t quite made it yet.
Now this is great news! Robots are helping to make our lives better every day. They are here to take all of the illegal Mexican’s jobs, take that! Robots do all the dirty work that no one wants to do. Seriously, who wants to vacuum? With a Roomba, vacuuming becomes something that is enjoyable… to watch!
Some of you may be thinking now that robots are soon going to be able to do everything, that they may be gaining too much power. You are thinking that we may have an iRobot or a Terminator on our hands, but to that, you are wrong.
The thing is, people have already realized that with too much thought and power, robots will reach that level and rebel against the human race. Scientists have already planned for this. They aren’t going to let this happen! Precautions are being put into place so that they can easily be shut off, and the human race will reign supreme!
